Ocean Walk Surfside Condos For Sale

New York-based developer Florida Postal Holdings LLC has proposed a project with workforce housing in Surfside.

Ocean Walk will comprise close to 80,000 square feet of new construction, measuring eleven (11) stories above grade. In total, the venture will host twenty-two (22) residences and eleven (11) hotel rooms. Of the twenty-two (22) homes, nine would be workforce housing, including seven studio apartments and two one-bedroom units on the second floor. The remaining 13 residences would be luxury condos offering four bedrooms.

Plans also call for eleven (11) hotel rooms: three standard units and eight suites. The hotel rooms would be located on the third floor and their amenities on the fourth floor. Residential amenities include a swimming pool, pickleball court, fitness center, and recreational space.

Ocean Walk Surfside will replace the post office, which closed in early 2025. As noted, Florida Postal Holdings LLC is the developer. Plus LLC, based in Parkland, is the architect. If approved, Ocean Walk would mark the first community approved under the Live Local Act in Surfside. The venture would occupy a .33-acre site that hosts an 8,000-square-foot post office. The post office ceased operations in spring 2025.

The Miami-Dade Beacon Council reports that Surfside's median household income is $96,297. Developments can qualify for incentives under the Live Local Act if they designate at least 40 percent of their homes for households earning up to 120 percent of the area median income.
