Boutique Five-Story 'Colette' Proposed for 1880 Brickell Avenue, Miami, Florida

Meta Development has plans for a low-rise residential project in Brickell. Measuring five stories above grade, Colette will comprise thirty-eight (38) residences: 36 condos and two penthouses. The smallest units start at 1,900 square feet, and they will include three-bedroom and four-bedroom floorplans. They are currently priced from $3.3 million.

Communal amenities at Colette will include a rooftop swimming pool, fitness center, and children's playroom, among other offerings. The venture itself is also ideally situated near many of Miami's various attractions, including the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.

Meta Development, led by Andrew Rasken, purchased Colette's 0.8-acre for $10.7 million in 2024. Aerial renderings show that the site is partially vacant, and partially home to a 2,700-square-foot single-family residence.

Brazil-based OSPA is the architect. The firm has intentionally designed a low-rise building, as these are faster to complete than many of the pre-construction towers in the area. Meta Development is also behind Opus Coconut Grove, a luxury, fourteen (14) unit condo in its namesake city. The firm secured $28 million in construction financing for the venture earlier this August.
