Miami developers discount condos up to 50%
Buyers are taking advantage of the remaining developer inventory in Miami luxury Condos.
Currently there are fifty (50) new condominium towers in Miami-Dade County that still have unsold units. Most of these have been discounted from their boom pricing by from 25 to 50% depending on the building, how many units are left and who owns the property.
Some have just a handful of units remaining while others have 100’s.
The “good news” is that most of the condos have been reduced to today’s market values and they are selling briskly. There are currently a little over 4,500 units remaining and the first quarter of 2011 saw over 500 condos sell. The means that many building will be finished and sold out this year.
You can find these opportunities in areas from Aventura to Brickell and from South Beach to Sunny Isles.
All types of buildings are available from oceanfront condo hotels to in town affordable housing. All price ranges are represented as well as amenities packages.
The real question is will you get the best price on one of these. I have seen price fluctuations of over twenty (20%) for the same unit in the same line in the same building. As always, it is “Caveat emptor!”…”Buyer Beware!”
